ESL Tutoring

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) tutoring helps individuals improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.  We assess the learner’s current language level and create personalized lesson plans based on their goals, whether it’s for academic success, workplace communication, or everyday conversation. Lessons may focus on grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation, or practical language use.  L.E.T.S. also provides plenty of opportunities for the learner to practice speaking and listening in real-life contexts to build fluency and confidence.

In addition to teaching language skills, our ESL services support the learner’s cultural understanding and helps them navigate life in an English-speaking environment. This might include explaining idioms, cultural references, or communication styles common in English-speaking countries. We use Lexia® English Language Development™ as a digital tool to accompany our personalized approach to ESL learners.  We also encourage and motivate the learner, offering feedback and strategies to overcome language challenges. Ultimately, the goal is to help ESL learners communicate effectively and comfortably in English in a variety of situations.
